The Devil Stole The Beat, an event series created specifically to help Atlanta scenesters to take the beat back, is kicking off its sixth installment on Valentine’s Day.
It started as a launch party almost three years ago. Now it’s a full-grown event series that devotes itself to showcasing emerging area bands and songwriters to artsy audiences.
Wednesday, Feb 14, TDSTB is reconstructing it’s first opening night party with the return of Bleeding Heart Riot! at The Loft.
Thursday and Friday, sixteen emerging local bands will take the stage at Smith's Olde Bar.
According to The Devil's website, it's invite-only but don't let that discourage you. “It pretty much consists of all your friends, someone spinning some rock and roll, and a beer or 7. It's ‘invite only' but trust me from experience... high five someone on the street and you'll probably get in … Or, if you're lazy like we are- just email us. We'll put you on the list.”
