The Last Town Chorus preview new album on tour

Megan Hickey is spreading her lap steel guitar virtuosity around the country with a new tour and album this year.

Leading her Brooklyn-based band, The Last Town Chorus, with the unlikely choice of a 1940s-era lap steel, Hickey will preview songs from her upcoming album, Wire Waltz, during a slew of dates in January and February. Hacktone Records releases the album March 6.

The Last Town Chorus is also scheduled to appear at this March’s South By Southwest Music Conference in Austin, TX.
