Ben Gibbard Announces Solo Tour

Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard has announced a nationwide solo tour with support from Johnathan Rice and David Bazan (Pedro the Lion).

Gibbard is taking the opportunity to tour solo while Death Cab is between albums and the band's guitarist/producer Chris Walla is off recording his solo album.

It’s being predicted that together the three performers will set off a musical apocalypse, sending crowds into convulsions of awesomeness. The tour begins on May 3rd in Minneapolis and runs for 16 dates nationwide.
