Five for Fighting Launches Charitable Website

Five For Fighting main man John Ondrasik today launched the first internet music video site that raises money for charities.

WhatKindOfWorldDoYouWant.com, which takes its name from a line in the band’s latest single, “World,” allows users to post videos they make for the song.

According to the site, money is raised every time a video is uploaded or viewed. Each time a video is watched, “up to 49 cents will be donated to a charity” the viewer chooses from a list selected by Ondrasik, including Fisher House, Breast Cancer 3-Day, Save the Children, Autism Speaks, VH1’s Save the Music, and New York Police & Fire Widows & Children.
