In a case of strange timing, Fujiya and Miyagi is the second English-speaking band making Paste news today with Japanese names (read about the other, Asobi Seksu, here).
English trio Fujiya and Miyagi, whose first album, Transparent Things, was released February 6 on Deaf Dumb & Blind Recordings, have announced a mini tour of the U.S. starting next month. The band’s combination of Krautrock and early 90s electronica have gained enough attention for the first three singles by the band to sell out.
Those three songs, their B-sides and four additional tracks make up Transparent Things.
