It’s hard to imagine Maria Taylor getting anything done as she segments her time as one quarter of Now It’s Overhead, one half of Azure Ray, and one whole of her solo career.
But never underestimate the amount of hours all those musicians in Omaha can squeeze into a day. On March 6, Taylor will release her second solo album, Lynn Teeter Flower, only five days after she embarks on a month-long U.S. tour (and one date in Toronto, so our northern neighbors don’t feel left out).
Lynn Teeter Flower, named after a family friend from Birmingham, Ala., follows Taylor’s solo debut, 2005’s 11:11, and features Conor Oberst and Taylor’s brother and sister, Macey and Kate.
