Roger Waters Tours the Dark Side

Ex-Pink Floyd founder and main songwriter, Roger Waters, will be on tour in the U.S. and Canada for two months this spring, resurrecting the songs of Pink Floyd in a concert series called, “The Return Engagement.”

The shows will be split up into two sets, the first a mix of music from early Pink Floyd albums, including The Wall, Animals, Wish You Were Here, and The Final Cut, as well as songs from Waters' solo album, Amused To Death.

For the second set, Waters and his band, The Roger Waters Band, will perform The Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety, from start to finish.

Both sides of the event will meet together underneath one large, luminescent video projector and lighting theatrics to create a “three-dimensional hyperworld.”

This is only the second time that Waters will perform The Dark Side Of The Moon as a solo artist. The first time was during his 2006 world tour. Before that, his last live performance of Dark Side was with Pink Floyd more than 30 years ago.
