Sasquatch! Lineup Announced

The 2007 Sasquatch! Music Festival lineup is out. Big names this year include Beastie Boys, Bjork, The Arcade Fire, Interpol, Spoon, Manu Chao, Neko Case, Michael Franti & Spearhead, M.I.A., Citizen Cope, Bad Brains, The Hold Steady, plus more than 40 other performers.

Compared to five years ago, this festival is definitely gaining ground. The crowds keep getting bigger and the lineup keeps getting stronger. Why the draw? Possibly the view from the cliffs above the Columbia River Gorge in Washington State.

To protect the natural environment that makes it unique , this year Sasquatch! will be a carbon neutral event. The festival will purchase carbon credits for whatever amount of carbon it releases, meaning that an equal amount of carbon will be reduced somewhere else through reforestation, sequestration, or other energy efficient projects.

Tickets go on sale March 3rd at 10:00 a.m. The dates this year are May 26th and 27th. Camping reservations can be made after ticket purchase.
