The Frames announce U.S. release and tour

The Frames new release, The Cost, will arrive in the U.S. on February 20, and the band will follow in shortly after for month-long tour starting April 6 in San Diego.

Media back in the band's home of Ireland have raved that the new album is “the best thing The Frames have ever done.” Two of the new songs also made an appearance at this year’s Sundance on the score of Once, which stars the band’s frontman Glen Hansasrd as a street musician who falls for a Czech pianist.

The Cost was recorded live to capture the energy and spontaneity of their stage performances. This is the band's sixth studio release, recorded at France's Black Box studios with producer David Odlum.
