Entire Can Catalogue Goes Digital

The Grey Area of Mute/Spoon will digitally release all thirteen Can studio albums and the I Want More EP on March 13, 2007.

This is the first time the entire catalogue will be available on CD. Four of the albums were first remastered from the original tapes in October 2004: Monster movie, Tago Mago, Ege Bamyasi and Soundtracks. The complete digital catalogue will include:

Can was formed nearly 40 years ago by two German students who abandoned academia to form a group that would transcend the boundaries of ethnic, electronic and modern classical music.

More recent artists, such as Sonic Youth, Mark E. Smith of The Fall, Brian Eno, Faithless, John Lydon, Queens of the Stone Age and Primal Scream, have all cited Can as a major influence.
