The Hold Steady Gets Quiet(er) on New Live EP

The Hold Steady Gets Quiet(er) on New Live EP

The Hold Steady traded its sweat-soaked, arena-rock-crammed-into-a-club normal live show for a performance with considerably less Marshalls and Les Pauls for the band's first officially released live performance.

Live at Fingerprints, to be released April 17, contains five acoustic songs recorded at Fingerprints record store in Long Beach last October, including the non-album track “You Gotta Dance With Who You Came To Dance With.”

The EP will cost around five bucks and will be available only at certain independent record stores. To find out exactly where, visit ThinkIndie.com.

In other news for fans of the awesomeness known as the Hold Steady, we here at Paste think the band is so amazing we've even thought of having them grace the cover of our little magazine. Maybe even in the next couple of months. Maybe.

Live at Fingerprints track list:
1 - Cattle and The Creeping Things
2 - Chips Ahoy
3 - You Can Make Him Like You
4 - Citrus
5 - You Gotta Dance With Who You Came To Dance With
