Indie kids have never bought much into the "Live Strong" craze, but thanks to music magazine Relix, they won't have to sport those bright yellow bands to prove they care about the world around them.
With its "Wear Your Music" campaign, Relix has secured donated guitar strings from such legends as Brian May, Carlos Santana, Pete Townshend and Les Paul as well as newcomers The Shins, Wolfmother and My Morning Jacket.
Renowed designer Hannah Garrison of AZU Studio has been commissioned to turn these old guitar strings into fun, fashionable and wholly wearable bracelets, and all proceeds will go to one of more than 20 charities chosen either by the artist or by the campaign at large.
Prices vary from $75 to upwards of $300. Click here to buy yours today.
