As previously reported, history’s biggest live music event will unfold on July 7 when more than 100 of the world’s top acts unite against global warming.
In anticipation of the 24-hour, eight-location concert, event organizers announced this morning 16 of the headliners for the U.S. leg of the show, to be held at Giants Stadium in New Jersey.
AFI, Akon, Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews Band, Fall Out Boy, John Mayer, Kanye West, Kelly Clarkson, KT Tunstall, Ludacris, Melissa Etheridge, Rihanna, Roger Waters, Smashing Pumpkins and The Police will all share the stage as more than 2 billion viewers worldwide tune in via TV, radio and internet distribution.
Tickets for the show go on sale Monday, April 16 at 10 a.m.
