Damien Dempsey Journeys To Hell Or Barbados

When Dublin singer-songwriter Damien Dempsey (known to fans as "Damo") released Seize The Day in 2004, he took home four Meteors, Ireland's version of the Grammy, and for the past two years, he's won the Meteor Award for Best Irish Male after releasing his stellar third album, Shots (ranked #36 on the Paste Top 100 of 2006).

His fourth LP, the politically charged To Hell Or Barbados, named after Oliver Cromwell's campaign against Ireland in the mid-17th century, will be released June 26 digitally and July 3 nationally on United For Opportunity.

Stay tuned for live dates, as "Damo" promises to have a U.S. tour in the works for August.
