Buffalo Tom, back on late-night television

On the final episode of The John Stewart Show in 1995, David Letterman sympathized about host insecurities and Buffalo Tom played the song “Summer” from its latest album at the time, Sleepy Eyed. Since you missed the eBay auction for a “Good quality VHS” tape of the show, check out the performance here.

Pretty great, right? Jon Stewart thought so. David Letterman must have as well (even though he was offstage at that point), because the Late Show host will feature a reunited Buffalo Tom this Friday night!

The Boston group recently released its first album in nine years, Three Easy Pieces, on New West Records. If you live in Hollywood, forget Letterman and check the band out live, tonight, at Hollywood’s El Ray Theatre.
