The most recent Paul Simon-esque stylings of Jeremy Fisher will hit Barnes & Noble shelves 1.5 months earlier than the album’s official release, “supported with in-store positioning, play and signage.” Heads up, advertising/marketing undergrads! Positioning, Play and Signage. PPS. Write it down in pen on your wrist or shoe. The professor won’t know you’re cheating; it could stand for anything. Post-postscript? Tattoo of your grandmother’s initials? Portland Public Schools?
Anyway, the Canadian artist will appear in-store in “select markets,” adding a fourth element to the promotional scheme. Goodbye Blue Monday, Fisher's third album, comes out Aug. 1 in places called Barnes & Noble, and Sept. 28 in places not called Barnes & Noble. In all places, it will be on Wind-Up Records.
