Take good care of this Suzanne Vega MP3

| | Comments (0)

Suzanne Vega is occasionally touted as the “Mother of the MP3,” because her song “Tom’s Diner” was used by creators of an early MP3 compression system. The “Lab Monkey of the MP3” might be a more appropriate moniker, but regardless, the lady continues to promote the digital format by offering a free MP3 from her seventh album Beauty & Crime, out today on Blue Note/Capitol Records. It’s like she’s giving us her very child, people!
