Vegoose lineup announced

There’s more to the Las Vegas music scene than Elvis impersonators, lounge acts and an ostentatious Celine Dion extravaganza here and there. The weekend before Halloween, Superfly and A.C. Entertainment - experienced crafters of strangely-named music festivals (see: Bonnaroo) – host the sin city’s third annual Vegoose, headlined by Rage Against the Machine and Daft Punk. With amenities like a costume tent and (fake) wedding chapel, it promises to be a freakshow for the ages.

Among the acts probably printed in slightly smaller font on Vegoose advertisements are Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, Blonde Redhead, the Shins, Gogol Bordello, Pharoahe Monch and Ghostface Killah. Notably, Iggy Pop & the Stooges will perform their classic album Fun House start-to-finish. Appropriate for the associated holiday indeed. Most groups will play Sam Boyd Stadium, some will appear in clubs for extra cash you may or may not have after quality casino time.
