VHS or Beta tour coast-to-coast

VHS or Beta embarks on a national, three month tour tomorrow, leaving dance parties in its wake. “As for Europe, we'll be trying to get there in the fall, mates,” says the band’s MySpace. The tour will feature drummer Mark Guidry on an actual drumset (in addition to creating mad electro-beats) and introduce fans to new guitarist Mike McGill.

Since its debut nearly ten years ago, VHS or Beta has morphed from noise rock to French disco-house beats with Duran Duran-like vocals and instrumentation. The Louisville, Ky. groups’s third full-length, Bring on the Comets, debuts August 28 on Astralwerks.
