New Beck single out next week on iTunes

Beck, who’s been cool for so long that the children have taken to calling him Grandpa Hipster, will release a new song next week. The self-produced “Timebomb” will be available on iTunes on August 21, and at other online music providers on August 28.

The song is Beck’s first output since 2006’s The Information, and will have to sate us for now, as reports tell us that no more recordings are in the works for the foreseeable future.
