Black Mountain goes In the Future

On Jan. 21, the prog-psych-folk-rockers in Black Mountain will launch In the Future. Now, this does not mean that the Canucks have discovered the secrets to time travel, but it does mean that they are finally going to be releasing their second LP.

If you don’t want to wait until the New Year to hear new Black Mountain music then be sure to get yourself to one of their shows. The band kicked off its tour yesterday (Sept. 27) in Boise, Idaho, and catching the group live is the only way you can purchase the 12” release Bastards of Light that features two songs that will not be on the upcoming album. The 12” also comes with a digital coupon that will become active Nov. 13, allowing all buyers to get an early sneak peek of In the Future.
