Chalk up another show for The Boss and his crew.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played their first live set in three years on Monday (Sept. 24) at Asbury Park, located in the heart of his beloved home state, New Jersey. The first gig was part of a two-night, back-to-back, limited-seating dress rehearsal in hopes of working out the kinks and familiarizing the band members with each other again as they gear up to promote Magic.
The set lasted around two hours, including a single encore, nearly a third of it comprising new material. This included the single, "Radio Nowhere," which opened the show. Check out the music video below:
The band rejoined audiences again last night (Sept. 25), playing an additional rehearsal set. Announced yesterday was yet another rehearsal show in East Rutherford, N.J. Tickets went on sale yesterday morning.
