In a brief scare for singer/actress Charlotte Gainsbourg, doctors in Paris operated Thursday on a brain hemorrhage she sustained months ago in the US, following a water-skiing accident in which she had been involved.
"The operation went very well," said Dominique Segall, agent to the daughter of famed French stage singer Serge Gainsbourg.
The female Gainsbourg attended the Venice Film Festival earlier in the week, promoting her latest film, I'm Not There. She was also most recently seen in Michel Gondry's 2006 film, The Science of Sleep.
