If there's one thing I like about going to backwoods, bayou-rock shindigs with bands like Deadstring Brothers rocking me 'til sunrise, it's wearing my pigskin shitkicker boots. If there's one thing I like more than wearing them, it's talking about wearing them.
Lucky for me AND you, the Brothers are hittin' that dusty touring trail come pumpkin season! Yes, the boys (and girl) will be ramblin' through the south and midwest, promoting the release of Silver Mountain, a follow-up album coming less than a year after the release of their first effort, the critically-acclaimed Starving Winter Report.
The band's new music video for "Meet Me at Heavy Load" is intended to be an homage to the raucous underground night club, Heavy Load, where West End Londoners get cheeky all night long to vintage '60s and '70s grooves.
Find you a pair of bootsies ASAP and join the Brothers when they come to a dive near you, listed below. Note that four out of nine tour dates are played in cities ending in "-ville." Are you jealous, Farmersville, Illinois?
