Jesus and Mary Chain record new song, tour

Considering that the Reid Brothers' feud has at times reached Gallagherian proportions, it's rather impressive that they've managed their Jesus and Mary Chain reunion so well. Granted, there's been a lot more innuendo than truth surrounding the JAMC lately. It's sort of like one of their classic Psychocandy songs - fans have to cut through all the static to get to the sweet candy core.

Well here's a bit more bona fide information for you - tour dates and a new JAMC song... well, sort of. Remember that number they rocked on Letterman and other recent live engagements? Well, it's entitled "All Things Must Pass," and is now slated to appear on the soundtrack for the NBC ratings muncher Heroes in mid-January. Through a press release, the brothers also confirmed that they're due to hit the studio. So cross your fingers and wish for the best.

In the meantime, keep your gaze trained on the West Coast for the latest dates on the Magical JAMC Traveling Jukebox Tour. It's just like honey with a twist of Lemonheads:
