Blasting off Sept. 14 with a lineup of over 50 different bands performing around the clock for two straight days and nights, the Monolith Festival in Colorado promises to be a righteous undertaking.
Slathered with talent like garlic aioli on a hamburger patty (it's almost lunchtime), the roster includes some of Paste's favorites - Oklahoma City eclectics The Flaming Lips, prosaic prophets The Decemberists and the brothers Followill of Kings of Leon.
The whole thing kicks off tomorrow night at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a geologically formed, open-air masterpiece of a venue. It's arguably one of the best places to see music in the U.S.
