Mysterious Radiohead site = hoax

Earlier this week, Pitchfork tipped us to a mysterious, possibly Radiohead-related website, RadioheadLP7.com. The site might be a hoax, but that’s not stopping it from generating a commotion among album-starved Radiohead fans. And now, a countdown is ticking away on the website.

Tomorrow (Sept. 29) at 10 a.m. EST, something may or may not happen related to Radiohead and the new album. Maybe. We think. Go ahead, laugh, but we bet many of you will be refreshing the website like a maniac tomorrow morning.

UPDATE (3:46 p.m.): The diligent folks at Billboard report that the site is a hoax, by way of Radiohead's publicist. Way to spoil the mystery, guys!
