Sex Pistols announce "Bollocks" reunion

Here come the Sex Pistols, and it's probably best you don't mind. Even after the Telegraph panned the seminal punkers' reunion concert in 2002 as "overlong " and "flagging," frontman Johnny Lydon - formerly known as "Rotten," now known as Judge Judy defendant and gorilla enthusiast - has announced to NME that the original four members are together again for a one-off, Nov. 8 gig at London's Brixton Academy to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Never Mind the Bollocks. Junior high students recently kicked out of Pre-Calculus for wearing this Hot Topic t-shirt are psyched.

"From London Bridge to the Rose and Crown, all of Britain is welcome so come on down," Lydon beckoned, apparently utilizing the diction of a carnival hawker.

The folks at NME are campaigning to propel the single "God Save the Queen" to No. 1 on British charts upon its Oct. 8 vinyl rerelease, as if seeing it barely edge out current second place hit "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's wouldn't be the most unexciting musical victory since the public won fair use rights for "The Electric Slide" dance in May.

Tickets go on sale this Friday.
