Aussie, aussie, aussie! Oi, oi, oi! Ben Lee is coming to town!

All you fans of the Australian singer/songwriter can get excited, because he's about to embark on a North American tour in support of his latest album Ripe. Lee will be joined by the Cary Brothers and Kate Voegele. If you are friends with Ben Lee on MySpace, or if you friend him today (Oct. 9), then you will have a special chance to pre-order tickets to his shows. Otherwise, you can just wait until tomorrow (Oct. 10), when tickets go on sale to the general public.

Released in the U.S. on Sept. 18, Ripe is Lee’s sixth album and was produced by John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer). The record also features collaborations with artists such as Mandy Moore, Rachel Yamagata and Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek.
