Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew tours U.S. solo

Even though he's trying to break from his old Social Scene with this new solo project of his, Kevin Drew is still keeping a few of the old pals around. As Drew embarks on his first solo journey through the magical and dangerous land of America, he'll have trusted companions Brendan Canning and Justin Peroff of Broken Social Scene to watch his back as part of his live band. Also playing in the Drew fellowship: representatives of American Analog Set, Treble Charger, and Uncut.

Spirit If..., Drew's solo debut, arrived this September to solid reviews. Don't think that Drew's grown too big for his old outfit, however. Drew recently told ChartAttack that he hopes to put out a new BSS record in 2008.
