Cracker and Isbell pair up for 'Tornado' tour

Cracker and Isbell pair up for 'Tornado' tour

It's tornado off-season in these United States, and undoubtedly vulnerable twister magnets like Oklahoma and Texas sure miss the ruckus. The thrill is gone, right? In the mean time, Cracker and former Drive-By Trucker Jason Isbell hope to stir up the heartland on their own with "Tornado Alley Tour 07," which begins on Halloween in San Antonio. After sitting through weather that time and time again sounds like a freight train, the region could probably use some new frequencies.

While Isbell accustoms the nation to a recently released CD with his name alone on the cover, titled Sirens of the Ditch, Cracker continues to promote 2006's Greenland. Frontman David Lowery (of Camper Van Beethoven fame), is also dishing out the solo goods as of late, via self-produced videos on YouTube. Here's the latest, titled "Baby, All Those Girls Meant Nothing to Me" -- "lightened up" from the original title of, no joke, "All Those Whores Meant Nothing To Me." Thankfully, the line about disregarding all of his hot female MySpace friends was kept.

If you say so!
