As we previously reported, the Atlanta natives of Manchester Orchestra have been on tour this fall. Now, the indie-rock group has extended its North American tour all the way through Nov. 20, co-headlining with Annuals. The Georgia boys have also teamed up with Annuals to produce a limited edition 7-inch, in which both bands cover each other’s songs. The album is only being sold at the shows, though, so you best get tickets if you want a chance to hear this unique collaboration.
For those who won’t be able to catch Manchester's live act, the band is scheduled to perform on Late Night With Conan O'Brien on Halloween night. And in other news, Sam Erickson, who has previously worked with My Morning Jacket and Dave Matthews, has filmed a documentary on the band called What’s Left Behind. The film follows Manchester Orchestra as the band tours around the south for a week. No news on when the doc is set to come out.
