The release date of Cassandra's Dream keeps getting pushed back (now currently listed as Dec. 28), so as much as this trailer feels late, it isn't actually. Regardless, have a look:
Cassandra's Dream is the third and final of Allen's trilogy of British films, each containing a much darker tone more in line with Matchpoint than Scoop. It's also the first of the three without Scarlett Johansson, though she'll be back next year to star in his first Spanish project, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, alongside Penelope Cruz.
For whatever reason, it always feels as if Allen's trailers are composed of a pretty random selection of images from the movies. It's hard to imagine that Allen himself has anything to do with what you just watched, but that's just the magic - the mystery of marketing.
