Coachella dates are set - start planning!

2004: The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival resurrects the Pixies.
2005: Bauhaus reemerges.
2006: Depeche Mode.
2007: Rage Against the Machine.

What does 2008 have in store for us? Could it be the reverb-drenched return of My Bloody Valentine? Get your head out of the clouds, you fool! The festival hasn't announced a single act just yet, but the Coachella website has released dates for the 2008 festival:

"Coachella 2008, April 25-27, info coming"

Ah, what a tease! Based on the dates of those previous news items, we probably won't have a substantial lineup for you until January at the earliest, but Coachella has always been known for surprises. Keep your ears to the ground and your eyes to the desert.

In the meantime, say a word or two for the bands you'd like to see on Coachella's MySpace blog.
