Franz Ferdinand: the book arriving this month

If there's any band we could stand to learn a bit more about, it's Franz Ferdinand. The truth about the band and its members always seems concealed by irreverent smirks and flippant interview responses. They're just a bit too hip for the rest of us, it seems. Thankfully, the band will soon issue the definitive text on its young career, and perhaps bare just a bit of its soul in the process.

The A-Z of Franz Ferdinand hits store shelves on Nov. 19, courtesy of Northumbria University Press. The volume will include some pretty personal items - unseen photographs, band diary entries, and reports on the group's third album, which is currently in the works. Take your time on that one, lads. We'll take good notes on the book in the meantime.
