Argh... you mean we have to stretch this Led Zeppelin circus out even further? Okay, fine, Jimmy Page. Thanks for fracturing your finger this past weekend. Now it looks like the fans will have to wait until Dec. 10 for the grand Led Zeppelin reunion spectacle. Page's injury needs three weeks to heal properly, a specialist determined, meaning the previous concert date of Nov. 26 was out of the question.
“I am disappointed that we are forced to postpone the concert by two weeks," Page said in a statement. "However, Led Zeppelin have always set very high standards for ourselves, and we feel that this postponement will enable my injury to properly heal, and permit us to perform at the level that both the band and our fans have always been accustomed to.”
All tickets for the original date at London's O2 Arena will still be honored. Those who can't make that date can return tickets for a full refund by Nov. 14. Those refunded tickets will then be offered via a lottery system to people who originally registered for the show.
Until then, keep those tired eyes on the sunrise, waiting for the healing bone...
