Pylon begins short tour (it ends next week)

Having just released its 1980 debut, Gyrate, on CD for the first time, Pylon is poised to distribute cool points like hotcakes around the eastern seaboard via a handful of early-November tour dates with The New Sound of Numbers. Show up, accrue +5 in your Athens-related hipness stats, and honor the town’s alternative forefathers by dancing a little bit. It all begins tonight in Atlanta, and winds up next weekend in Philadelphia. That Liberty Bell could use another shaking up.

The dates:

November
1 - Atlanta, Ga. @ The Earl
5 - Chapel Hill, N.C. @ Local 506
7 - New York, N.Y.@ The Mercury Lounge
8 - Brooklyn, N.Y. @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
10 - Philadelphia, Pa. @ World Café Live
