Bradford Cox announces Atlas Sound tour

Bradford Cox announces Atlas Sound tour

The mastermind behind Paste’s #83 (and this writer’s #1) album of the year will not rest on his laurels. Though it was a big year for Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox, 2008 will not merely be devoted to telling everyone about the awesomeness of Cryptograms. Instead, Cox will introduce the world to his solo project Atlas Sound, the first proper album of which, Let The Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel, will be released on Kranky on Feb 19.

Let The Blind is a haunting, intimate album, and that ambience translates to Atlas Sound's live show. While the rest of the Deerhunter crew will celebrate not touring for the first time in a very long time, Cox will trek through the USA to bring Atlas Sound’s, um, sound, directly to you. Do not miss it.
