If you’ve been searching for a reason to go down under, quest no further. The Australian-based V Festival has announced the line-up for its spring-time concert series.
For the dates of March 29-30 and April 5-6, fans will be rockin’ it roo-style to the music of the Smashing Pumpkins and Duran Duran, who are both co-headlining the four day extravaganza. Queens of the Stone Age, Mika, the Jesus and Mary Chain and The Presets are just a few more of the bands that are slated to appear in select cities of the tour. More artists are expected to be added in the months to come, but for the complete line-up to date click here.
The V Festival is also donating $1 of every ticket sold to several designated charities. It doesn’t seem like much, but if you look at last year's projected donations, the musical event raised about $54,000 for five different organizations. So, in the holiday spirit of giving, book a flight and buy a concert ticket for the outback tonight.
