Silversun Pickups have been receiving quiet a bit of special attention lately. Whether it’s getting nominated for a Woodie this Sept. or being featured in MTV’s attempt to deliver good music to the public during commercial breaks, the band is doing none too shabby. Now, with the festive winter season upon us, Silversun Pickups are finding even more ways to shine for everyone to see.
On Dec. 11, the L.A.-based quartet will be releasing a spruced up version of its 2006 album, Carnavas. Select songs, like “Lazy Eye” and “Little Lover So Polite,” have been selected for the six track remix EP. The re-worked tunes will be available in stores on Dec. 18, but if you prefer a digital purchase, then you can acquire the EP on iTunes starting Dec. 11.
Silversun Pickups have also be doing their part to ignite holiday cheer. Yesterday, they kicked off their year end shows in Charlotte, N.C., and will be spreading their good tidings all the way through Dec. 16 in Atlanta.
