Super Furry Animals tour U.S. as new album hits :: Music News :: Articles

To U.K. fans, Super Furry Animals' eighth studio album Hey Venus! is already old news. The disc arrived in British retail stores way back in August, but as these things often work out, American listeners were left to wait for a delayed U.S. CD ship date. On Jan. 22, the physical copy of Venus finally enters the United States' orbit through Rough Trade Records. And as if to reward North American supporters for their patience, the Furries will embark on a lengthy tour across the continent the day after the album drops.

Let's see... we've got shows in the East, West, South and North regions of America, plus a couple of Canadian dates for good measure. Oh yeah... and the Fiery Furnaces are playing support on a limited run of dates. It's the acid pop double-bill from heaven!
