Widespread Panic get Free Somehow with album, .mp3

Some artists take their time between albums and tours, letting creativity work its slow magic as they hang out at home, get to know their kids, and probably watch old episodes of Behind the Music as instructional tools.

The dudes in Widespread Panic prefers to spend time away from their albums and tours recording albums and going on tour. As proof of its absurd work ethic, the band will release its 10th studio album (and 17th album overall) on Feb. 12. The album, which is called Free Somehow, is the first that the band has recorded without first playing the tracks live. It’s safe to assume that the band will compensate for this newness by doing a little bit of touring on the album’s behalf.

If you want a sneak peek into the studio, be sure to check out the free mp3 of “Up All Night” that the band posted on its website. Get your taste of the Widespread diligence right here.

Free Somehow tracklist:

1. Boom Boom Boom
2. Walk on the Flood
3. Angels on High
4. Three Candles
5. Tickle the Truth
6. Free Somehow
7. Flicker
8. Dark Day Program
9. Her Dance Needs No Body
10. Already Fried
11. Up All Night
