Benazir Bhutto biopic in the works

| | Comments (0)

After the release of World Trade Center, many were convinced that Hollywood had the market cornered on exploiting recent geopolitical tragedy for commercial gain. But in a globalized world, no country can reign supreme for too long, and India has stepped up to the plate.

The Hindustan Times reports that Vishesh Films, a Mumbai-based production company, will make a biopic that will explore the life of the recently assassinated Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan’s former prime minister. Currently, pre-production on the film is still in its very early stages.
