M83 preps Saturdays = Youth for tax day release, offers track

Remember Saturday morning cartoons? It would appear Anthony Gonzales, sole proprietor of M83, does. He remembers them as the last innocent bastion of childhood, where everything was fine, the good guy always won and the cereal was plentiful.

Thusly (or, probably more accurately, due to artistic notions of his own), Gonzales will release Saturdays = Youth on April 15. The fifth studio album and follow-up to M83's ambient diversion, Digital Shades Volume 1, the record was recorded with the help of Ken Thomas (Sigur Ros, Cocteau Twins) and Ewan Pearson (The Rapture, Ladytron). "Graveyard Girl" will be the first single (details forthcoming), but meanwhile, those eager for Gonzales' shoegaze-y guitars and dreamy soundscapes can sample album track "Coleurs" in both Real Audio and Windows Audio formats.

Saturdays = Youth tracklist:
You, Appearing
Kim & Jessie
Skin Of The Night
Graveyard Girl
Couleurs
Up!
We Own The Sky
Highway Of Endless Dreams
Too Late
Dark Moves Of Love
Midnight Souls Still Remain
