Straight from Yiddishkeit, the online Yiddish glossary:
k'vetsh - whine, complain; whiner, a complainer
Undoubtedly, Penn Jillette has developed into a k'vetsher par excellence in his decades of service as the larger half of comedic illusionists Penn & Teller. The guy just doesn't shut up, whether it be on stage in Vegas, hosting Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, co-authoring books, guesting on late-night TV or appearing as a VH-1 snarking head. When will the deluge of Jillette's opinions end? Not any time soon, apparently: the guy just got another venue in which to mouth off.
Entitled Penn Says, the raconteur's new online video series on Crackle.com will feature (you guessed it) completely undiluted, unscripted, and unedited thoughts from Jillette's prickly tongue. As USA Today's Pop Candy blog tells it, videos will arrive "at least four times each week" and will encompass "every aspect" of Jillette's life. Sweet Grandma Moses! Can anyone handle that much of this man? At least this medium allows users to shoot back - viewers can post comments and video responses to whatever Penn happens to be spewing on a given day. Should be a fun time for all.
