Evangelicals Announce U.S. Tour

Evangelicals shall overcome! In support of their latest album, The Evening Descends, these psych-poppers from Norman, Oklahoma — the same town that begat the Flaming Lips and the Chainsaw Kittens — will begin a seven-week U.S. tour on Feb. 15 in the Shadow of the Valley of Death (otherwise known as Columbia, Mo.). The band will joined by fellow believers, the Champaign-Urbana, Illinois-based Headlights, as they travel the states like Father Pierre-Jean De Smet on his first missionary journey through the U.S.

In other news of the Evangelical-variety, the band recently released “Skeleton Man” as their first single for Evening. The digital single includes two b-sides and can only be purchased at Other Music’s digital store.
