Al Gore hints at an Inconvenient sequel

When Al Gore's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, was released in 2006, it won praise from critics and audiences alike, and scored an Academy Award (not to mention put Gore in the running for the Nobel Prize, which he would eventually be awarded in 2007).

A variety of rumors have sprung this week about the possibility of a second film, Gore himself even telling The Sun that he "will make a sequel to the 2006 documentary." However, a statement that Paramount Pictures released this week denies the existence of such plans, making the validity of Gore's statement a little unclear.
