The past two weeks have given SciFi fans many a reason to celebrate. First came the news that not only is the X-Files movie sequel back on, but that Mulder and Scully are likely to finally lock lips during it.
Now, it's been reported that Children of Men, the P.D. James book that was made into a 2006 film, is in the process of being adapted into a television show.
The show reportedly will be based upon the premise of the original book, which focused on the societal and human interactions that developed from its fictional culture, more than the Clive Owen movie. David Eick, executive producer of the now-cancelled NBC show Bionic Woman and writer of the SciFi series Battlestar Galactica, is currently hard at work on the pilot script for the show.
Sadly, Clive Owen will not appear.
