Comedian Aziz Ansari, or one-third of MTV's Human Giant whom we still fondly remember as an indie-clerk asshole, will be one of three new interns (i.e. fresh, tauntable meat for Dr. Cox) on Scrubs. TV Guide reports Ansari will join the Sacred Heart staff along with Betsy Beutler (The Black Donnellys) and Eliza Coupe (12 Miles of Bad Road). In an already nickname-riddled show, what's left for the noobs?
After seven years with NBC, the fantastical comedy is hitchhiking its way over to ABC, who picked it up for 18 episodes next season. No word yet if the series is ending after this upcoming season.
