Denny's adopts bands, plans Rock Star Menus

| | Comments (1)
Denny's, home of the Grand Slam Breakfast, Moons Over My Hammy®, The Super Bird® and 24/7/365 service, has announced that along with breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert, the restaurant chain will add a less...traditional...aspect to its already hefty repetoire: Rock Star Menus!
Yes, friends. You read that right. Rock Star Menus will be created by four bands, Taking Back Sunday, The All-American Rejects, Eagles of Death Metal and Plain White T's, all of which have been asked by Denny's to contribute. Each menu will be served up at your friendly neighborhood Denny's.  (Let the jokes about items like Taking Back Sundaes, Eggs of Death Metal and Plain White Toast commence.)

Denny's has also decided to take one from the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie playbook, and adopt.  But instead of needy children from Africa, the casual food eatery has adopted several bands, that include EndeveraftR, Foxy Shazam, Forever The Sickest Kids, Switches, Take The Crown and Saving Abel.  And, much like Brangelina, Denny's won't just stop with one adoption. The restaurant plans to continue taking on more bands every two months.

How do you apply?  Well, just head over to this page, submit your info, and it's possible that your band might be the next, official member of Denny's Adopted Bands!

Check out one of its new adopted children, Foxy Shazam, in the following YouTube video:

Umm - so was the president of Denny'sfired and replaced by a 22 year old?

There's no way the Denny's corporation had even heard of most of these bands before this promotion...
